With the support of The Japan Foundation, Jakarta, the Special Program, “Indonesian Express: Nugroho, Edwin and Riza,” will return to Indonesia after successful screenings at the 25th Tokyo International Film Festival. Featured in the Winds of Asia-Middle East section, the program revealed the depth of the Indonesian film industry.

A symposium will be held in Jakarta on March 15 with guests Kenji Ishizaka, Programming Director of Winds of Asia-Middle East section, and Yoshi Yatabe, Programming Director of the Competition section. They will be joined by directors Garin Nugroho and Riri Riza.
On March 16, following the screening, the award-winning film “Flashback Memories 3D” will be shown for the first time in Indonesia, followed by a stage appearance by the film’s director, Tetsuaki Matsue.
