July 5, 2013 Final Call for Entries to the 26th TIFF Competition (Deadline: July 12, 2013) Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) is accepting entries to the 26th TIFF Competition. Applications for submitting films are now being accepted on the official TIFF website (Deadline: July 12, 2013). TIFF looks forward to a larger number of submissions from around the world. 25th TIFF Award Winners ©2012 TIFF Regulations for the Competition 2013 (summary) 1) Must be films completed after January1st 2013. 2) Should not have been screened at main competition section of "competitive feature film festivals (non-specialised)" accredited by FIAPF*1 prior to TIFF. 3) Must have its Asian Premiere at TIFF. World and International Premieres are given priority. Japanese films must have its World Premiere. 4) Must be feature films (including animation) running over 60 minutes. 5) Documentary films are not eligible. 6) Screening material should be in digital format (in high definition), with English subtitles. Its affiliated multi-content market TIFFCOM2013 will be held from October 22nd to 24th in the Tokyo Bay Area during the festival.
